Residents in Qatar can use the Metrash mobile application to receive mobile phone alerts about important information, such as traffic violations, resident permits or driver’s license expiry, and car registration expiry. These notifications help residents stay informed and avoid potential issues.

Who Can Register on Metrash Mobile Application?
The Metrash mobile application is primarily designed for residents and citizens of Qatar. In general, anyone who has a valid Qatari ID (QID) and a mobile phone with a Qatari phone number can register for the Metrash mobile application.
However, certain services offered by the Metrash application may have specific eligibility requirements, such as being a Qatar resident or citizen or having a valid visa or work permit. Register on Metrash through Your Mobile Phone
Follow the below steps to register on Metrash Mobile Application.
Step 1: Download Updated Metrash on your Mobile Phone
You can download and install the updated Metrash application from the App Store (iPhone Users) or Google Play Store (Android Users) according to your device operating system. Metrash will not be available after 1st march 2025, so all Qatari residents must install the latest and updated Metrash app with more services and payment gateways.
Step 2: Select the Language
Choose the preferred language to use the Metrash mobile app. The attached two images are for your understanding, click on the Language option and then the language page will pop up with options of Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Malayalam and Urdu. Then Click Login.
Step 3: Enter the Qatar ID
After choosing a language, enter QID on the page to proceed further. In this updated version of the Metrash mobile application its just 1 step to login.
Step 4: Activation Through SMS
Once, You are done with the above steps, Metrash will send a message for an activation key. Then you have to send that key to “92992“.
Step 5: Make Metrash Mobile Application PIN
To make your PIN code for an application, you need to open the app, enter the QID no, and activation codes that you received and then enter the PIN two times. The pin should be at least 6 digits. This will help you to log in in future. Click “Submit“.
Step 6: Confirmation SMS
You have done a great job, now you will get a confirmation SMS and can use a number of services on the Metrash mobile application.
Activate Metrash Mobile Application on Second Device
The good news for all Metrash Mobile Application users is that they can use the application on 2 mobile devices. You need to follow the steps to activate in the second device.
Step 1: Download the Metrash Mobile Application in Second Device
You can download and install the Metrash application from the App Store (iPhone Users) or Google Play Store (Android Users) according to your device operating system.
Step 2: Enter Credentials
As you have already registered on Metrash Mobile Application, to log in to the second device you need to enter QID and password to sign in.
Step 3: Enter OTP (One Time Password)
You will get OTP on your mobile number which will be valid for 10 minutes. Enter the OTP to proceed further.
Step 4: Use Metrash Mob App in another Device
Hurrayyy! You can use it on your other device.
How to Change Mobile Number in Metrash Mobile Application

- Visit the Ministry of Interior website.
- Click on the “Inquiries” icon and go to the Metrash page.
- Select “Metrash for Individuals” and enter your QID and the new mobile number.
- Choose your preferred language and enter the CAPTCHA code.
- Click on “Change Number” to update your mobile number.
You can also use the same page to subscribe or unsubscribe from Metrash services.
Deactivate Metrash on a Mobile Device
Incase, you want to deactivate your Metrash app. You can follow the steps:
- Goto Metrash Mobile Application.
- Click on the top right icon.
- Scroll down to the settings.
- Select “Deactivate“
- Enter the password as “PIN” for confirmation.
If you were using an app on 2 devices then you have to deactivate it from both devices.
