Qatar On Arrival Visa Requirements for Accompanying Members

A visa for accompanying members for GCC residents is available. They need to meet the minimum requirements for getting a visa which should be an undertaking of your sponsorship.

Qatar On Arrival Visa Fee For GCC Residents

  • The visa fee for GCC residents is QAR 100.
  • You need to have a credit/debit card or cash to pay the fee.
  • Fine for overstay is QAR 200 per day.

For cash payment, you need to visit the cash counter to pay the fee.

Qatar on Arrival Visa Validity and Extention

The validity of an arrival visa is 30 days. The Ministry of Interior awards the extended visa for a maximum validity of three months by paying QR 100 per month additionally.

Step 5: Pay the Visa Fee: Finally when you arrive in Qatar, You can pay the fee on arrival by using a debit/credit card. Mastercard and visa cards are also accepted.

What if your profession is not on the list for a visa?

If your profession is not present on the eligibility list, then you have to apply for a visa before travelling to Qatar. If your family member or relative living in Qatar can apply on your behalf for a family visit visa.       Yes, you can enter Doha as a GCC resident even if your residence permit is only valid for 5 months. You will need to present your valid passport, GCC residence card, return flight ticket, and hotel booking to the immigration officials at the airport. The visa fee is QR100 (approximately USD27).

      Yes, you can visit Qatar with your family who are holding a visit visa of Saudi Arabia. The procedure and required documents are as follows:

      You need to apply for a Qatar family visit visa for your family members. You can do this online through the Metrash2 app or the MOI website.
      The required documents for the visa application are:

        A copy of your Saudi resident visa
        A copy of your family members’ passports
        A sponsorship letter from you addressed to the Qatari authorities
        A recent passport-sized photo of each family member
        The visa application fee is QR500 for each family member.
        The visa processing time is usually 3-5 working days.

      To stay in Qatar, you should either have a hotel booking or, alternatively, a recommendation from a family member or friend stating that you are staying with them. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you can take a chance by showing only a hotel reservation if you do not wish to book a hotel in advance.
