Medical Fitness Test
The medical fitness test is a medical test that confirms that an individual is medically fit. This test ensures that the student is medically fit and is perfectly ready to join school. This test includes measurement of height, weight, vision, hearing, and various health assessments.
This certificate is issued by government health centers across Qatar under PHCC, the certificate is known as the Fit to Join School Certificate.

Procedure of Medical Test for School Admission in Qatar
The following steps will explain to you in detail how to get a medical fitness certificate:
- Step 1: Fix an appointment
To get an appointment with the govt health center, you have to call 107 and provide them with your health card number and the name of the health center you want to visit. You can also choose your date and time from available slots.
- Step 2: Visit Health Centre
On the provided or chosen date child and parent have to visit the health center with above mentioned documents.
- Step 3: Register at the reception
You have to register yourself at the reception desk and you would ask to provide documents, and they would prepare a document file and guide you further.
- Step 4: Nursing Assessment
In the assessment room height, weight, eyesight, and hearing would be checked by the nurse. Vaccination records would be reviewed and some questions about child development would be asked from parents.
- Step 5: Blood Chekup
Child’s blood sample would be taken in the laboratory. A blood report would be provided after 15 to 20 minutes.
- Step 6 : Dental Checkup
A dentist would check the dental health and hygiene of the child, and in case of further treatment the doctor would guide you.
- Step 7: Physicians Checkup
After all the above-mentioned checkups you would be advised to go to the physician. Physicians would examine the physical condition of the child and review the previous health details. In case of further treatment, he will guide.
- Step 8: Collect medical Certificate
After the physician’s assessment, you would collect your medical certificate from the main reception.
- Step 9: Fixing of Photographs
The process of photograph fixing would be done in the Nursing Assessment Room by the nurse.
Time: After this whole process you would be free to go home. The whole procedure would take almost 2 hours.
